Scripture Prayer

Isaiah 30: 21

And your ears shall hear a word behind you saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left.

Exodus 40: 36-38

Throughout all their journeys, whenever the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the people of Israel would set out. But if the cloud was not taken up, then they did not set out till the day that it was taken up. For the cloud of the Lord was on the tabernacle by day, and fire was in it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel throughout all their journeys.

Father God, just as you were with the Israelites, guiding them day by day, we pray that you likewise guide Father Shaw and Mother Julie Mudge in their discernment of the where and when of their mission work for You. May they hear your voice and may they interpret correctly the signs that You send to them, as they continue their spiritual journey with You.

We pray Lord for the planning stages of the on-line courses for seminary students in Tanzania and Belize. We pray that Lydia knows of your steadfast presence with her as she studies for and takes her final exams. And we pray for the presentations that Shaw and Julie will be giving at local parishes and the Diocesan Convention. May they gain new intercessory prayer partners and financial partners as well.
