Scripture Prayer Sent June 25

Ephesians 2: 8-10

For by grace you have been saved through faith.  And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.  For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus, for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

Father God, we thank You for your grace, for your son Jesus Christ, that He died for our sins, and whosoever believes in Him is saved through faith.  Works are not necessary for salvation.  But we are products of your workmanship and our faith makes us want to achieve those good works which You have prepared beforehand.

Thank You for Father Shaw Mudge and for the works You have chosen for him and in which he walks.  We pray for continued guidance for the global on-line theological training program and for spirit filled interactions with his students.

We pray for healing for Father Shaw’s mother and that all pressure is relieved in dealing with other family members and making the right decision about her care.

Blessings on his whole family, and especially on Lydia as she prepares to do Ministry in Honduras.  Help her with fund-raising, Lord, and give her everything she needs to get through training in July.

And guide Mother Julie as she starts her work in hospital chaplaincy.
