Romans 15:13
May the God of
hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the
Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
God of hope, we thank You for the joy and peace that comes
from trusting in You. We thank You for
the gift of your Holy Spirit that makes all things in your will possible and
which brings so much hope.
Father God, we thank You for your Son Jesus Christ and
the ultimate gift that He offers to us.
Father God, we thank You for the joy and peace which Father
Shaw Mudge obtains as he believes in You and plugs into the power of the Holy
Spirit as he does his mission work for the people of Belize. Thank You for the hope that the Anglicans in
Belize now have because of the ordination of new priests and other fruit of
Father Shaw’s ministry.
We pray for continuing inspiration, hope, joy and peace
for Father Shaw and his family as they proceed on the journey that You have
willed for them. We pray for the move to
Manchester CT, for the continued affiliation with the Diocese of Albany, for
the mission work in Belize, for the development of the course about Anglican
church history and the preparations for the trip to Belize in late September.
We ask for peace, effectiveness, love, joy and creativity
for Father Shaw and his whole family.
Amen.
