1Peter 4: 7-11
The end of all things is near. Therefore be clear minded and self-controlled, so that you can pray. Above all, love each other deeply because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.
We pray Lord, for clear minds for Father Shaw and Mother Julie Mudge so that they can pray and hear your direction for them. Thank You for every gift that You have given to these loyal servants of yours as they wish to serve others and faithfully administer Your Grace in its various forms. Show them Lord what their new mission is to be and where it is to be. Also give them the strength they need to complete a mighty work for You. And in all they do, may their works bring praise to Jesus Christ, your Son. To Him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.
