Scripture Prayer

2Corinthians 3: 17-18

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into His likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

Holy Spirit, we thank You for the freedom that You bring and God’s glory that is reflected as we are ever being transformed into the likeness of Jesus. We pray that Father Shaw and Mother Julie Mudge are being guided by You, and that they always reflect the Father’s glory and shine forth with Jesus’ love as they minister in Belize or Tanzania or Albany.

We pray especially for Father Shaw as he preaches at St. Ann’s in Belmopan Belize this Sunday. God, we pray that he will preach and talk about matters as You would lead. We also ask for travel mercies as Shaw and Julie fly back to the U.S. on Monday. Lord, keep them safe.

We thank You for the encouraging results so far in Belize, especially for the enthusiasm of so many people as it is made known that the on-line course materials to be prepared by Shaw and Julie will be available to any Anglican in Belize that wants to know more about You and ministering in Your name.

Lord, we thank You for every blessing. Amen.
