Colossians 1: 9-12
For
this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped
praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the
knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the
Spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing
fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with
all power according to his glorious might so that you may
have great endurance and patience, and
giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the
kingdom of light.
Lord God, we thank You for
the ministry of Fr. Shaw Mudge. We
continue to pray for him, asking that You fill him with the knowledge of your
will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives. May Fr. Shaw live a life worthy and pleasing to
You in every way. May he bear fruit in
every good work, growing in the knowledge of You, and being strengthened with
all power according to your glorious might.
May he have great endurance and patience, and give joyful thanks to You,
Lord, for your glorious kingdom of light.
We pray for Fr. Juan Marentes
and the part that he is playing in translating Fr. Shaw’s teaching materials
into Spanish. We pray for the upcoming
mission trip to Belize and for some progress in the discussions about Fr. Shaw’s
involvement with ministry education in Kasulu, Tanzania.
Lord, continue to help and guide
the Mudge family as they discern your will in making some important
decisions. Please open doors for them to
help them fulfill your will for them.
