Ephesians 3: 14-19
For this reason, I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and earth is named, that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith – that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
Father God, according to the riches of your glory, we ask that Father Shaw and Mother Julie Mudge and all their family and all their students be strengthened with power through your Holy Spirit so that Christ may dwell in their hearts through faith. We thank You that they are rooted and grounded in love. May they have the strength to always comprehend the great dimensions of Christ’s love for them, a love that surpasses all knowledge. May they always be filled with the fullness of You, God the Father and God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Amen.
(P.S. Via a typo, at one point the prayer read that Christ may swell in their hearts through faith. We ask for that as well, Lord. May Jesus swell in their hearts and our hearts to complete fullness. Amen.)
